We ate at El Anguilla with my family.It was an amazing experience and we greatly enojoyed ourselves. Services was fantastic! Reinaldo did an amazing job thanks to him our experience was better. I had an exceptional experience at El Águila thanks to Joshua’s phenomenal service. From the moment we were seated, he struck the perfect balance of warm hospitality and professional attentiveness. He anticipated what we needed before we even asked, checked in at just the right moments, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the meal. Joshua knows the menu inside and out and offered thoughtful recommendations that ended up being spot‑on. His timing was impeccable, his demeanor was friendly without being overbearing, and he carried himself with the kind of confidence that instantly puts guests at ease. It’s rare to encounter service that elevates the entire dining experience, but Joshua absolutely delivered. El Águila is lucky to have him, and we’ll definitely be returning — not just for the great food, but for the exceptional hospitality he provides. Highly recommend!

I’ve had a very good experience every time I’ve eaten at El Águila. The food is consistently great, and the service is excellent, which is why I’ve become a frequent customer. Had a great time tonight! Our server Joshua was the best! Hilarious, prompt, and had great recommendations. Get the passion fruit mojito or margarita, the tres leches, and the churros, they’re great! Entree portions are plentiful, you can definitely eat half and take half home if that’s your style. Overall very impressed with my first time here, will be coming back!

El Aguila is a fantastic place. The food was excellent. We ordered a paella and it was delicious. I am from Spain and I voucher for it! The prices are also very reasonable and the waiters are truly nice and attentive. Diego, the maitre, was super friendly. The ambient was great, friendly, relaxed and super well decorated. I have driven by several times, now, I'll make sure I also stop. Strongly recommended.

El Aguila on Randolph Road in Silver Spring is a solid five stars for me. The food was really good, and the staff was genuinely friendly the whole time. Even with how busy it was, everyone stayed upbeat and made sure we were taken care of. Parking is decent enough, but the spots are tight. If you have a bigger SUV or truck, just be ready to take your time getting in and out. Still, we were able to find a spot without too much trouble, so no real complaints there. We went as a group of seven on a Sunday around 5 pm, and the inside was already packed. They do not take reservations, so we ended up sitting outside. The staff pulled a couple of the outdoor coffee tables together for us, and it actually worked out really well. It was a nice spring afternoon, so the patio vibe made the meal even better. Quick tip if you are planning a visit on Sunday: go early. This place fills up fast on regular days, and on special occasions it is going to be even crazier. If it is something like Valentine’s Day, you will want to show up mid afternoon, around 3 pm, if you want a good seat. Overall, great food, great service, and totally worth the visit.

My husband and I came here for date night and the food was amazing! First time trying the pupusas here and they were honestly some of the best I’ve had. We also ordered the big platter for 2 and it was more than enough food with plenty of meat included. Reynaldo was our server and was very attentive to us, providing excellent customer service!

Amazing food and I had the best server, Josh! He’s such an attentive server with a great vibe. The singer was also great and the bussers as well. I’ll definitely come back with my friends and family!!
